Simple Steps to Healing: Ho'oponopono I Love You, I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You

Simple Steps to Healing: Ho'oponopono
I Love You, I'm Sorry, Please Forgive Me, Thank You

by Dr. Joe Vitale
Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients – without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate's chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person's illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.
When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane?
It didn't make any sense. It wasn't logical, so I dismissed the story.
However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho'oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn't let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more.
I had always understood "total responsibility" to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it's out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that way. We're responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does. The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility.
His name is Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call. I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years. That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work, or visit.
Dr. Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.
"After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely," he told me. "Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed."
I was in awe.
"Not only that," he went on, "but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work."
This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: "What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?"
"I was simply healing the part of me that created them," he said.
I didn't understand.
Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life – simply because it is in your life – is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation.
Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.
This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy – anything you experience and don't like – is up for you to heal. They don't exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn't with them, it's with you, and to change them, you have to change you.
I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in ho'oponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone – even a mentally ill criminal – you do it by healing you.
I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients' files?
"I just kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you' over and over again," he explained.
That's it?
That's it.
Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, you improve your world. Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message. This time, I decided to try Dr. Len's method. I kept silently saying, "I'm sorry" and "I love you." I didn't say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance.
Within an hour I got an e-mail from the same person. He apologized for his previous message. Keep in mind that I didn't take any outward action to get that apology. I didn't even write him back. Yet, by saying "I love you," I somehow healed within me what was creating him.
In short, Dr. Len says there is no out there. It would take a whole book to explain this advanced technique with the depth it deserves. Suffice it to say that whenever you want to improve anything in your life, there's only one place to look: inside you.
And when you look, do it with love.

Note: This article on ho'oponopono is edited from the book Zero Limits by Dr. Joe Vitale and Dr. Len. You can listen to Joe talk about his experience with Dr. Len and ho'oponopono along with his involvement with the inspiring movie, The Secret, on News for the Soul by clicking here. He starts talking about Dr. Len and ho'oponopono at minute 15 in this highly engaging one-hour interview.
Dr. Len's message may be quite hard to believe, yet it's amazingly simple. He states that we are all responsible for everything that we see in our world. By taking full personal responsibility and then healing the wounded places within ourselves, we can literally heal ourselves and our world. As related by Joe Vitale in the radio interview, Dr. Len suggests a four-stage process for this ho'oponopono work. Whenever a place for healing presents itself in your life, open to the place where the hurt resides within you. After identifying this place, with as much feeling as you can, say the below four statements:
  • I love you.
  • I'm sorry.
  • Please forgive me.
  • Thank you.
For several inspiring articles on the ho'oponopono process, see the official ho'oponopono website. Even if you are skeptical, consider giving this simple healing method a try to see what happens. Many have found it to be incredibly profound in their lives. Please forgive me. Thank you.

Why people do not accept Soul Healing Miracles

I was taking a hike this morning and my brain was rambling along, jumping from thought to thought, when I hit upon one that stuck. Why in the face of 1000,s of Soul Healing Miracles do some people refuse to accept a Soul Healing Miracle and the teachings of Master Sha, his worldwide representatives and his students as a beneficial reality to themselves?  As I pondered this thought. I started to receive a spiritual message of  enlightenment around this subject. This is what I received:
soul ealing miracles

Every person from birth is raised to believe very specific things. That is right, this is wrong. That is good for you, that is bad for you. Boys don’t cry. Etc… The same holds true for our process of re-connection to our creator. We are products of our upbringing.

This is the only way. That teaching is sacrilege. Only Chinese medicine can heal that. Only drugs can cure cancer. Only Jesus can create miracles.  Only men can be the Pope.

If we were in certain tribes in Africa, only men can perform certain task. Men are allowed many wives, but women cannot have many husbands.  This entire world and the people in it is a accumulation of individuals acting separate because of their belief systems.

When a great Soul with a great message of oneness comes, it runs up against a person’s belief system. One simply has to look at great ones like Jesus to validate this truth.

So why is it that people resisted Jesus? Why is it that people resist another person’s belief system or a person’s choice of re-connection to source?  I was happy to hear the answer.
What I received in “flow” was that a human and their belief systems are in essence their link to reality. Each and every adopted belief is the fuel that makes that person capable of operating in their reality.   If that persons belief system did not receive the programming for having an open mind, a judgment free mind about observations and experiences outside of their adopted system, then that person has a form of irritation, resistance or suffering.

It is the judgment about something that creates the persons suffering and the irritation. The judgment rears its ugly head and is predominant because the individuals foundation, their very structure that their life was built upon is being challenged. This is where the healing and the resolution lies for anyone to grow and expand their awareness.  This is where the person who finds themselves intolerant or incapable of adjusting their mindset must look.

Soul Healing MiraclesThe interesting thing about this observation is that it is will be analyzed by you the reader against your belief system.  Where will you categorize it? Do you add it, delete it, file it under the maybe file?  Each and every soul has at least one thing in common; we are all souls with the unique ability to experience life in the way we choose.

Master Sha, his worldwide representatives and his students are creating Soul Healing Miracles every day.  This reality will eventually be accepted as self evident.  The benefits to all humanity to come together as one will eventually become a world mantra. Until then I encourage all my readers to fully open to the awareness that your creator has sent messengers before to wake up humanity. Master Sha is one such messenger for our modern times.  To remain unaware of his desire to serve humanity with Soul healing Miracles and the message of Love Peace and Harmony could  potentially extend the length and amount of suffering of your own souls journey.

In closing I wish to offer my deepest gratitude to Master Sha, Divine Tao, and Source Creator. For bringing such a benevolent soul to assist humanity in this difficult time of transition. Humanity and all souls are very blessed.

The Spiritual Path- Eating the Golden Grass of Heavens Mountain

The Spiritual PathThe spiritual path is often filled with soft barbed wire. Is there such a thing as soft barbed wire, you ask?  Yes. But only for those on a spiritual path.  Barbed wire is usually put in place to keep things in or out.  In the case of the spiritual journey I find myself getting snagged by this soft version when I fail to do what is the known right choice for that moment.

Each time I effort to meditate, practice, chant, serve, or any effort toward what will purify my soul and move me towards the divines heart and away from falseness. I am challenged by desires of false gratification.  The world of make belief is so charming that watching TV or the internet often seems a better use of time that reading, chanting, serving others, or practicing purification and self healing methods.

This charming dance of the desire filling thoughts seems harmless and feels so wonderful. A cup of Starbucks and a movie…What’s wrong with that my monkey mind says, as it justifies the wasted use of time that could be used to move me closer to finishing all that is needed to stop reincarnate..  Can you image that?  Never having to come back here again?  Never having to pay bills, experience pain, have a broken heart, work until you die.  Can you imagine staying in heaven permanently?

master shaYou would think that the knowingness that this is not only possible but within reach in one lifetime would be enough to make me drop everything and put forth every effort possible to achieve this goal that every true spiritual practitioner dreams of. You would think that witnessing miracles daily, receiving the highest  soul rattling and enlightening wisdom and experiencing unexplainable yet profound life transformation would invoke a fiery desire to be done this physical plane suffering once and for all.

So it is truly amazing for me to witness myself flounder on a daily basis just to do the minimum practices asked by my spiritual father.  Can you imagine how frustrating it must be to be in the masters shoes?  Here he is feeding me golden grass at the base of the heavens final mountain, and yet the lifetimes of layers of darkness, old desires, old energetic patterns, karma and God knows what else contrive to steer me away to the false gold of the physical pasture. The master says; just do this simple practice, 120 minutes of your 1440 minute day. And you can rise above these physical world dramas and desires. And yet two hours can sometimes be so difficult to complete.

The Spiritual Path
To comprehend a masters patience to consistently pull up initiates when the initiate should be running up the mountain, is to understand a great masters love, tolerance and compassion. No doubt they have been the one being towed up hill at some time in their many earthy lives.  And now they are the one pulling on the reigns of the struggling initiate.

I pray that someday I will be that master with that tolerance, love and compassion for the initiate that is struggling just to eat the golden grass of Heavens Mountain.

Thank you My beloved spiritual father Master Sha for you unconditional love and patience.  I will continue to strive and serve until I reach the top.

Experience your own Soul Healing Miracles

soul healing miracles
Soul Healing Miracles Book
How many of you have ever experienced a healing miracle? How many of you have ever witnessed one? What about witnessing hundreds, possibly thousands of miracles? Do you have any idea what this kind of experience does to a person’s belief system?  It changes everything!

I remember early on in my spiritual discovery years that I would hear or read about what most anyone would classify as a miracle, and I would ponder if it was just a bunch of bologna. Maybe it was a prank. Maybe it was real, but I didn’t see it myself, so I categorized it into the wait and see file. It never ceases to amaze me how much power I gave to my ego mind. To think that I felt myself so important as to be the final judge of whether something was a miracle or not is probably the height of arrogance.

I have always had an “I will believe it when I see it” take on life, and I am sure that has inhibited my soul growth substantially.  One of my first spiritual teachers taught that there 3 kinds of people on the spiritual path. Those that see, know and trust. Those that see, know and question. Those that see, question, and deny. These 3 kinds of people dictate the speed of their soul’s growth. I heard this 15 years ago. How much time I have wasted; such is the nature of the ego.

Since meeting Master Sha I have witnessed a minimum of 500 miracle healings.  I was blessed to receive a
soul healing miracles
Master Zhi Gang Sha
healer transmission downloaded to my soul from this master.  Upon applying this healer transmission to assist others I have witnessed 100’s more healing miracles, and this time I was the vessel through which the healing miracle happened to others.  How can I every thank the Divine and my spiritual father enough for opening my soul & heart to for unquestionable  knowing that our beloved creator is not only real but there is proof of this daily in the soul healing miracles that this master has brought to mother earth.

I have been blessed to be accepted as a student by the most prolific spiritual master on the planet today. Master Sha is both a humble servant to humanity and all souls and at the same time a world renowned healer and N.Y. Times best selling author. Do you want a Soul Healing Miracle?”  Run don’t walk to the nearest store and purchase the newest book “Soul Healing Miracles” book.  This book is literally blessed to cause just that for the reader.  Humanity is very blessed that our beloved creator has so much unconditional love for us that he/she is willing to bring such a benevolent master to remind us of what is possible.  To remind us that love peace and harmony will prevail for all souls in all universes.

I love you Master Sha.

Learning to trust your Spiritual Master

Learning to trust your Spiritual Master
In writing this I remember clearly the first time I was asked to bow down the picture of  the master of the organization I was learning from.  I was involved with the Dahn Yoga system.  I was one of 8 Americans who were both interested in and selected as those who would go directly to South Korea to train.   The
www.asoulhealer.com
group of students I was to travel with were spiritual neophytes on many levels including spiritual depth. I was the oldest member of the group at a young 38 years old.

The entire Dahn Yoga system is built upon one man’s enlightenment vision to assist others in awakening their energy bodies through  energy stretches and energy meridian invigoration.  Master Ilchi Lee Is an enlightened soul. He, unbeknownst to me at the time was quite a powerful soul. His organization had over 200 centers in S. Korea and about 100 in America. The eight of us were to gather, meet and prepare together for the first time before we were flown to Korea. It was during the 10 day preparation and training at Mago’s garden (dahn yoga’s training and retreat area) in Sedona, Az. that I first experienced practices to prepare one towards opening their spiritual channels and following a master.

During this 10 day prep time, an image of this master was placed on an alter and incense was burning. We were all asked to bow down to this master.  Now it is important to understand that each of us 8 Americans had little to no experience with Asian customs and to the best of my knowledge we did not comprehend why we should bow down to someone who was paying our way to train in Korea for 6 months.

paul fletcher soul healer
I remember during this process that it felt somewhat cult-ish.  It turns out that it is not a cult, nor is any other organization that follows a TRUE master. I remember reminding myself while bowing down to this man that I did not know of my own rule about the receipt of unknown or uncomfortable spiritual information.  My rule is this: If I don’t understand it now, there will come a time when I will. When I do understand it, then I can categorize it as good or bad for me and my spiritual journey.  Until then, I make an internal agreement to set judgments aside and discover more.  I have found that this rule has served me well in maintaining my growth and being open to all possibilities.

So what did I discover about bowing down to a person’s picture?  First, and most importantly there must be clarity on the Leader/Masters ego. Is the master selfless or selfish?  Is the Master and his disciples and students representative of love and compassion or are they regimented, inconsiderate and limited in their thinking.

www.drsha.comBowing down to a master is an ego free choice that shows respect and gratitude for a master’s leadership and guidance. Bowing to their image is the same.  It is not idolizing.. if the Master has met the above criteria.  The greatest lesson that can be learned from a true Master is how to open your spiritual channels and dramatically shorten your permanent return to the heavenly realms. The Master and his image or photo can possibly carry the subdivided soul of the master. That master has dedicated to heaven and to you to serve your soul journey.  To bow down is to acknowledge this selfless act.  It is always the ego’s response if there is an immediate assumption of  a cult or cult activity. The ego senses a loss of control.  The true seeker of spiritual awareness recognized that the ego is the enemy and only a true master who has already learned how to purify and dissolve the ego can guide you back to the safety of heavens arms.

My 3rd and final Master is Master Zhi Gang Sha.  My soul prepared me for him by leading me to the other masters I have mentioned in my previous blogs. I am eternally grateful to each of these masters for their love, blessing, wisdom and guidance. Each difficult task they made me endure rounded the square edges of my ego filled head. Each of them prepared me to have greater understanding gratitude and appreciation for the hardships each of my masters have endured in order to be in the position to teach me.

I leave you with this simple wisdom. No man or teaching is the only way. If however your heart resonates with the wisdom and the teachings, then that is your soul telling you it is right for you. If your heart (not your mind/ego) offers you a differing view later on, then consult with your soul.  If you want to know more about your soul communication then purchase the book and start to follow the teachings and wisdom of master sha.  He is the preeminent authority on this subject.

My First and only Soul travel Experience

Its coming up on Sept 30 . This date is very auspicious to my second major master.  This master was pivotal in my life for "rounding the square head" her name is Master Qinyin  I met this master about 2006. This was a time in my life after several years with the Dahn yoga and the training with them as a master in their organization. (that's a whole nother story)
Master Qinyin is an extraordinarily pure master. I studied and practiced her divinely guided Qigong methods for about 2 years and had attended several of her 3 day BIGU  intensive healing retreats. There is no doubt in my mind that this master had incredible connection to the soul world. It was during one of these 3 day retreats that i experienced my first real, unquestionable, connections to the holy beings in the soul world.  During this 3 days intensive we dramatically minimize food intake and maximize spiritual food intake. The unusual think is I was not truly hungry. On the 2nd or 3rd day of this retreat the master announces we will be doing soul traveling.  Sounded cool, but I had no idea if it was possible, If I would remember anything or even if it would work.

Master Qinyin, turned on some Chinese music and proceeded to hit a gong.  She told (7-8 of us) to close our eye and relax.  I remember the room was light and daytime.  And I was both unsure and questioning if this would have any effect at all. Anyway I somehow found myself awake as if in a living dream in some place that felt like the deep mountains of Asia.  The first thing I saw was a running water pond at my feet, as I awoke sitting on the edge of this brook.  I then stood up and turned around and walked away from the pond. The surroundings were lush , green and kinda of like a box canyon.  As I walked towards the temple like structure in front of me I walked up a circular platform that stepped up 3 times, then I sunk down those same 3 steps.  In the middle was a platform and on the platform was the figure of Master Qinyin.  I bowed to her (which I had never done before) and then walked to my left.

I started for the first time to observe my surroundings.  I noticed walking around were people in simple monk like clothes. The ones that were near me said hello or welcome, however they spoke inside my head. Their mouths were not moving. I looked towards the edges of the scenery and noticed that the canyon was glowing a golden hue, as if the land emanated this color naturally. the rock walls above the tree line had cave door opening in multiple places, and I assumed they were dwellings.  All this was very quick in the observation, the explanation makes it sound like I had lots of time to absorb this but it was all happening in a few seconds.

I then walked away and walked around. I don't remember much of this. Shortly I heard in my head its time to return, so I remember standing up and walking back to the podium I had first seen master Qinyin, and in her place was the Quanyin Buddha. This Buddha had 16 arms and with one of her hands she unrolled her arm and revealed in the palm of her hand a smallish iridescent purple sphere.  I reached out and received this gift from her and bowed to her and then as if someone new I was complete the gong rang out again and I came to room awareness.
Now one thing to keep in mind I grew up christian and had very little awareness of this Buddha, let alone her 16 arms, so when I came to I was a bit startled.

The people in the group proceeded to describe there experience , but only 3 of us actually had a vision.  This vision was so profound to me.  I asked the master what the purple sphere was and she stated that I was to discover that on my own.  This experience was so impactful in my life that 1 year later I was unable to forget the profundity of it. So I commissioned an artist to paint the images in my head. The picture above represents some of what I experienced.

Master Qinyin Is a pure master with a great desire to serve humanity.  The only reason I moved away from her system of enlightenment was because I needed brain food to go along with the spiritual wisdom.  My final master, Master Sha has helped me to learn many of the wisdom's Master Qinyin was sharing in symbolic form.  I can never bow down to her enough for her service in preparing me for my master and my current service to humanity. I am deeply grateful to her.

Paul Fletcher
Aloha, My Name is Paul Fletcher and I am a Soul Healer.  I had no idea what a soul was let alone a Soul Healer until I met my current spiritual father Master Sha.  This Master has without a doubt had the largest impact on my life than any person on the planet today.  It will take a lot more than this blog entry to explain the story that lead me up to this master.  Along the way you will receive tidbits of wisdom that he has shared with me and 1,000's of Soul healers worldwide.  I may offer you a video or two for a quick education or free healing..

So much more to look forward to.  Let me start by saying that Since I popped out of the womb I knew I was here to serve and help people.  I kinda lost track of that in the teen years but found balance again in my early twenties. I attended a four year seminary school in Scottsdale Az. call The Ageless Wisdom University Seminary. This was the beginning of my long road to being a 1/2 century old. Thats right folks. the big 5-oh is in December.  Scary how quick it comes.
During these amazing years I have been extremely blessed.  Maybe the best blessing is that I still have all my hair!

I would not have appreciated nor recognized the value of my Spiritual Father Master Sha if it wasn't for the journey from adolescence to today. My Soul knew all along what is was doing.  My soul is in charge. This is one of the one sentence secrets revealed to me by Master Sha.

I will finish this first installment of my miracle journey to find my spiritual master with a video of Master Sha offering the message of his total life mission
